Description

Chaos has existed for just over a decade now. As a draconic archetype of form, it has slowly transitioned from western red dragon to Zhur dragon. Over time, it has descended through layers of awareness, where it now discards its wings and former perception aloft the world. It's existence is drawing to a close, or rather, it's beginning to come full circle. For now, it explores the harsh-edged world, and its skeletal catacombs beneath, waiting to transcend when the time is right.

A 'Zhur' is typically a black or ash-gray scorpian. They average a foot in length, although some species have been known to exist in greater proportions, outside of the Gor territories. Their exoskeleton bears barbed, serrated edges and segmented armor plating along it's dorsal side. It is six-legged, and bears two long, curving pincers to subdue its prey and feed. The stinger delivers a potent neurotoxin to incapacitate and kill its prey. They prefer to dwell in dark, cool reigons such as canyons, caves, mountain terrain, and occasionally dense forest.

As a hybrid, a Zhur Dragon does not possess wings. Instead, the structure of its secondary arms transition into exoskeletal legs which aid in it's movement, hunting, and defense. Armored plates run the length of its dorsal side and partially along its limbs. The tail possesses a stinger capable of delivering a similar venom, one that induces sensory hallucinations and a mild disassociative state, depending on concentration.

Similarly, the black liquid it commonly salivates causes a similar state, whether it is spit or comes into contact with skin or open wounds. It should be noted, however, this is not the same composition as the venom itself.

Although a Zhur embodies predatory traits and feral instinct, a dragon typically entails wisdom and knowledge, or at least intelligence and cunning. A Zhur Dragon is not exempt from its own venom, and with the concentration that such a creature retains, is able to manipulate the reality of its immediate surroundings. Whether it is manifest of a volatile psychosomatic/telekinetic element, or the ability to cause hallucination and conflicted sensory perceptions to those in its presence is, with all things, a matter of perception.

That said, a Zhur dragon possesses the tendency to 'phase' through reality... [Subject to later revision]
